As many of you may know, every year McAfee hosts a Channel Partner Summit in Marbella, Spain to celebrate our relationship with channel partners and the success we’ve mutually shared. This year’s Summit was no exception. The turn-out was great, with more than 100 partners from 27 countries gathering to hear about McAfee’s vision of security over the coming months and how we can help protect businesses from the ever-evolving threats of the digital world.
I was lucky enough to take to the stage at the event, alongside EMEA president, Gert-Jan Schenk. Our SVP of worldwide channels, Gavin Struthers and Jon Parkes, VP of pre-sales, also joined us to help paint a picture of the security landscape today and how it will likely look tomorrow. To conclude the event, we honoured some of our top performing partners in our very own McAfee EMEA Channel Partner Summit 2013 awards. As we expand our expertise and portfolio, we’re dependent on our partners to help reach the enterprises that want to protect their digital assets, employees and crucially their bottom lines. We owe a great deal of our success to the many partners, not just the ones listed above, we have the pleasure of working with and we’re 100% committed to further developing these relationships over the coming years.
It’s an interesting time for McAfee and the channel at the moment, and we’re excited to see where it will take us in 2014. This year, we have had plenty of highlights to shout about – we expanded our open resell product list, unveiled our first channel demand generation kit and showcased our Comprehensive Malware Protection at RSA. And after much success with our Profitability Stack initiative, we’re confident that as McAfee grows, our partners will too and we’re dedicated to providing them with the support they need to do so.
