Recertify Early Get Rewarded

I’m going to borrow a quote for this blog, and it’s one that’s been attributed to numerous individuals throughout history and can essentially be used in any context: ‘Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.’

While it might be cliché, for McAfee partners it’s good advice, especially now. Here’s why.

We know that re-certification isn’t the most enjoyable task, especially since it’s traditionally done at year-end when we all would rather focus on bringing in and closing new business instead of scrambling to complete certifications. If avoiding this predicament is not enough, here’s a little more motivation.

We’re going to reward you for completing your certification earlier in the year. Here’s how it works: Partner reps that complete their 2015 certifications by June 30, 2014, will be given one raffle ticket that gives you the chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card. We’re giving away one Visa gift card per region (Americas, APAC & EMEA), and we’re going to announce the three lucky winners on July 15, 2014.

Not only are we incentivizing the re-certification process, we’re making it easier to complete continuing education (CE). Last year we provided more opportunities for you to achieve CE credits, and this year we’re going to continue focusing on offering you several ways to get trained, both online and instructor led, including ACE, Partner Summit, eLearning courses, Channel StarTrac, and post-sales technical training.

Plus, through June 30, 2014, we’re doubling CE credits for Next Generation Firewall, Real Time for McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, and Advanced Threat Defense.

It’s a win-win-win scenario for you: Complete your certification process earlier and get rewarded. Simply do today what you typically might have done tomorrow.
