Free Money

Sometimes I have to remind myself to be very patient with my parents and older friends when it comes to new technology. I am so used to being with my kids who seem steps ahead of me in how quickly they grasp new technology that I sometimes assume that my parents are just as quick.

I have had to remind my mom on several occasions to be very careful opening email because it isn’t always from whom it seems. I remember way back when I had my first email address that I assumed if “they” had my email, they must know me. How quickly I learned otherwise!

It seems like I get spam for free money, penny stock tips, etc on a daily basis. What about you? Why not show the following video to your family to remind them that not all email is from people they know and if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

Stay safe out there!
