In the Wake of the Week

Last week was very busy. We provided a bit more detail on the first Intel/McAfee product, we earned a 5-Star product rating, we enhanced our channel partner incentives, we talked about the next generation data center opportunity and we were recognized as a “leader” for a very key security opportunity.

Intel Inside, according to Renee James, SVP Intel’s Software and Services Group, the company’s first security product created with McAfee will leverage security-related features that have been built into Intel’s processors for years.

Sneak peak fuels partner speculation around new chip.

From the chip to the cloud and all points in between it’s the Power of Three.

McAfee Email Protection earns 5-Star Rating from SC Magazine.

SMB Extravaganza allows McAfee channel partner sales reps with an approved SMB deal code to play goalie against malware shots on goal with the weekly high score winning an iPad2, which is way better than Angry Birds.

My top SMB Extravaganza practice score was 170 beat that!

Can we talk? Alex Thurber and Brett Kelsey of NWN talk about securing the next generation data center and its unprecedented challenges and opportunities.

Extra, extra read all about itMcAfee Enhances Commercial and Enterprise Deal Registration.

McAfee is recognized as leader in Content-Aware Data Loss Prevention Magic Quadrant.

According to Gartner Data Loss Prevention is #1 Information Security Priority

The Tweet of the week comes from MFEChannelChief (Alex Thurber): “If I won the McAfee Rewards SMB Extravaganza trip of a lifetime I’d go on an Antarctica expedition. How about you?”
