The SMB market segment (companies with less than 250 employees) is the fastest growing part of the security market. As a continuation of our commitment to support our channel partners in this area, today we are announcing our new SMB Specialization. This specialization will make it easier for the members of our SecurityAlliance Partner Program to increase their revenue from this lucrative customer segment.
SMB customers have similar security needs to those of large enterprises, but since they usually have less sophisticated IT departments, they often rely on their trusted security advisor to provide the security they need to operate a secure business. This new specialization enables partners to fulfill these unique needs with targeted security solutions for email, Web, data and endpoint. To address speed and ease of doing business, partners who achieve this SMB Specialization will have access to the Partner Acceleration Resource Center which offers product tutorials, product sales information, sales acceleration kits, and marketing campaigns to help partners more effectively go to market with SMB customers. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, there are specific financial programs in place to ensure that partners are able to go after new customers in a more profitable way.
