Since the aquisition if MXLogic by McAfee we have noticed the level of service stay the same, which is somewhat good. However, just recently, there were some show-stopping issues that left us with all legitimate e-mail being clasified as spam or being outright rejected. After talking with a number of 1st Tier, 2nd Tier and managers at the McAfee technicial support line, we were referred to call anothe rnumber to talk to the remaining MXLogic support team. The number provided only rang busy however. I had found another support number, that was likely overlooked to be disabled, and finsally got through to someone after a reasonable amount of time on hold. The issue was then identified, escalated and resolved.
I sincerely hope that McAfee either trains its support people to the same degree as the original MXLogic support staff or keep the current MXLogic staff on for this product.
If not, we’ll be looking elsewhere if show-stoppers like this happen again.
