Gavin Struthers Gavin Struthers is responsible for Intel Security’s business operations in the Asia Pacific region, comprising China, Korea, South East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand. Struthers has worked with Intel Security, formerly McAfee, for over 12 years across several roles including most recently as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Channel Operations. Prior to this he held the roles of Vice President of Channels, Alliances and Specialist Sales (APAC) from 2009 – 2014, Regional Director (ANZ) from 2004 – 2009 and Enterprise Sales Director for ANZ from 2002 – 2004. During this time has been instrumental in re-invigorating the channel business including a resurgence in the Commercial segment via a significant contribution from the partner community. Intel Security’s top partners globally have enjoyed more than 20 percent growth and new business growth via partners has soared to over 150 percent via the deal registration program. With more than two decades of sales and management experience in the technology sector, Struthers has held senior leadership roles across Australia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and South Africa. Prior to Intel Security, he spent 13 years with Novell. Struthers holds a bachelor's degree in commerce (business information systems major) from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
